About Me

A wise teacher once told me “Widen your horizons, read books.” So I decided to read, reread, and read some more. I am usually engrossed in two to three books at the same time.

I enjoy writing in the form of journaling. It began many years ago with a diary and scribbling on pages in school. I still write in these “glorified diaries.” Sometimes my journals turn into blog posts, and other times I write thoughts just between me and God. Experiencing breast cancer a few years ago forced me to consistently journal through the process of healing. I also journal after counseling sessions to help relieve memories of past traumatic experiences.

I work as an Administrative Assistant, Mentor, and Bible Teacher for Forgotten Children Inc. at Rachel’s House of Healing Residential Home for women who have been trafficked into prostitution. I am an Air Force Veteran and a PTSD survivor. I believe restoration is God’s goal for all women.

I am a Bible Teacher contributor to Called to Leadership Prayer Line. My writings have been featured in Pandemic Devotionals: How the World Overcame Fear with Faith, and Rescue: A Homeschool Mom’s Devotional.

Grab a pen, paper, and begin journaling.  Set aside a few moments for God to restore your soul today.
